Galtür is unique!

Galtür is different, and always was. Here, tradition and nature are main concerns. When you look around in Galtür and see the genuine village and the untouched nature, it is hard to believe that this village has welcomed tourists for more than 120 years. The people of Galtür have stayed true to their principle of keeping their village and the surrounding nature intact, also when developing the ski areas. There would of course had been space for more lifts and ski slopes, but profit had to give way to preserve the beauty of the landscape.
